Effect of Cold Deformation on the Hydrogen Permeation Behavior of X65 Pipeline Steel

In this study, an electrochemical hydrogen permeation experiment was used to determine the diffusion parameters, and a microprint test visualize distribution of in X65 pipeline steel with different levels cold deformation. The curves show that both current density effective coefficient decrease increasing reversible irreversible traps is calculated from it found amount increases deformation, especially significant increase traps, which agreement results measured by thermal desorption spectroscopy. Hydrogen indicate degree aggregation on specimen surface at phase grain boundaries. addition, dislocation configuration after deformation further investigated transmission electron microscopy.
